Thermal Imaging Inspection

Thermal imaging uses a specialized camera to detect temperature differences that cannot be seen with the naked eye. As part of our commitment to providing an in-depth inspection, we go the extra mile by using thermal imaging throughout the home to take a closer look at areas that may otherwise go unnoticed.

Thermal imaging can help identify unusual temperature patterns that may point to potential moisture concerns, missing insulation, electrical components that may be overheating, HVAC-related issues, and other conditions that may require further evaluation. When an area shows an abnormal temperature pattern, we use our other inspection tools and observations to help determine whether a concern is present.

Thermal imaging is included complimentary with every home inspection service we provide. We believe taking this additional step helps us provide a more thorough evaluation of the home and give our clients a better understanding of its condition.

What Thermal Imaging Can Reveal

Moisture Issues

Identify hidden roof leaks, plumbing seepage, and high-moisture areas behind walls and ceilings that often lead to mold growth before they become visible.

Energy Loss

Locate missing or damaged insulation and significant air leaks around windows and doors, helping you improve efficiency and lower utility costs.

Electrical Concerns

Detect overheated electrical components, overloaded circuits, and loose connections that pose fire hazards, ensuring your home's systems are operating safely.
